1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “User”) and Jakarta Pet House Adoption Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Your use of the website, submission of adoption applications, or engagement with our team signifies your acceptance of these terms in full.
2. Eligibility
To apply for pet adoption, you must be at least 18 years of age, reside in Indonesia, and possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. We reserve the right to verify your identity, residence, and suitability as an adopter through documentation or interviews.
3. Adoption Process
The adoption process includes application submission, home visit assessment, reference checks, and final approval. All decisions regarding adoption eligibility are at our sole discretion. We may decline any application without providing a detailed explanation, though we strive to communicate transparently where possible.
4. Pet Health & Welfare
We ensure all pets available for adoption are vaccinated, dewormed, and medically evaluated prior to placement. While we make every effort to disclose known health and behavioral conditions, we do not guarantee the long-term health or temperament of any animal. Adopters assume full responsibility for veterinary care, training, and well-being after adoption.
5. Adoption Fees & Payments
Adoption fees are non-refundable and help cover medical care, shelter operations, and administrative costs. Fees are payable in full prior to pet handover and may vary depending on species, age, and medical history. Payment is accepted via bank transfer or cash at our designated facility in Jakarta.
6. Post-Adoption Responsibilities
Adopters agree to provide humane, responsible, and lifelong care. You must spay/neuter your pet unless otherwise approved in writing by Jakarta Pet House. Relinquishment of the pet must be coordinated directly with us — private rehoming or surrender to third parties is prohibited without prior written consent.
7. Intellectual Property & Content Use
All content on this website—including text, images, logos, and design—is the property of Jakarta Pet House Adoption Services and protected under Indonesian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we exercise reasonable care in our operations, Jakarta Pet House Adoption Services is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or adoption services. Our liability for any claim related to the services shall not exceed the total adoption fee paid.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Jakarta, Indonesia.
10. Amendments
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the revised version on this page. Continued use of the website after such changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
